Hi, I’m Ashley, the heart behind Beginning and End. I’m a wife, mom, and storyteller who believes your wedding day should feel like you. I am your dedicated photographer, planner, timeline expert, and calm companion. I handle everything from permit scouting and custom locations in Olympic National Park, Oregon Coast, or around the world, and help document full-day coverage so you can just be present and fall more in love. No big team, just me pouring my heart into making your elopement feel effortless and epic.
Before photography, I taught in Montessori/early education, which taught me how to slow down, listen deeply, and see the beauty in small moments. That same care now shapes how I capture elopements filled with meaning and emotion.

Ashley helped me put my vision to reality. We wanted a small intimate wedding with less than 20, and then I wanted to escape off to multiple locations to capture the wedding photos of my dreams and BOY did this guy do all of that and more. And, I should mention that when we connected, I had none of this planned. I didn't have a location, I didn't know where I wanted to take photos; basically I felt completely lost. Ashley helped me research AirBnb's. She sent over locations that were exactly what I had pictured. She wrote out the timeline and helped to make adjustments when ever they might have been needed. She provided the props, the laughter, and the made the magic happen. I can honestly say that I have absolutely no regrets or "wish I would have" thoughts. Our wedding day was a complete dream in every single aspect, and none of this would have been possible without a wedding photographer like Ashley who poured her whole heart into making our dreams come true.
