I’m beyond excited to share Brandon and Heather’s breathtaking Port Angeles microwedding at Agate Beach Lodge! From the moment they told me about their vision for an intimate celebration with just their closest family members, I knew it would be something incredibly special.
You know those couples who just get it? Who understand that a wedding doesn’t need to be huge to be meaningful? That’s Brandon and Heather. After falling in love with the Olympic Peninsula during a vacation (I mean, who wouldn’t?), they knew this magical corner of Washington was the perfect place to say I do.
Their Port Angeles microwedding was the definition of cozy, heartfelt, and intentional. Heather looked absolutely radiant in her Essence of Australia gown, and when Brandon saw her for their first look at 4 PM, his expression said it all. Those are the moments I live for as a photographer—pure, unfiltered emotion.
With a stunning color palette of deep berries and purples, their decor beautifully complemented the moody Pacific Northwest backdrop. They kept their guest list intimate, just 17 loved ones, including some of the sweetest little ones ranging from 7 months to 7 years old! Their 5 PM ceremony was nothing short of magical—warm, personal, and filled with happy tears as they became husband and wife.
One of my favorite parts of the day was watching their families come together during cocktail hour and dinner. Karen from Home Meals created an incredible spread, and the relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to truly soak in the moment. No rushed timelines, no stress—just good food, heartfelt laughter, and quality time with the people who mean the most.
Of course, we couldn’t let the golden hour pass without capturing some truly breathtaking portraits. From 7:30 to 9 PM, we took full advantage of the soft, dreamy light as it kissed the coastline and surrounding forest. The Olympic Peninsula really knows how to put on a show, and Brandon and Heather’s love fit so effortlessly into its beauty.
This Port Angeles microwedding was proof that sometimes, the smallest celebrations make the biggest impact. Brandon and Heather’s day was intimate, intentional, and a perfect reminder that a wedding is about love, family, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
If you’re planning your own Port Angeles microwedding, I’d love to help bring your vision to life! Whether at Agate Beach Lodge or another stunning spot in the Olympic Peninsula, there’s something so magical about these intimate celebrations that truly fills my photographer heart.
Congratulations, Brandon and Heather! Your day was nothing short of perfection. 💕
