Angel + Kem // Rattlesnake Ledge Elopement // Washington Elopement Photographer
“You are my blue crayon the one I never have enough of, the one I use to color my sky.” -a.r. asher
This epic, and romantic elopement was quite the adventure. Angel and Kem came all the way from Texas to elope in the mountains, and the weather called for rain. Thankfully they had a beautiful, rain free ceremony! However, on the hike up to Rattlesnake Ledge, it POURED. Once we got to the top, the rain stopped long enough for some beautiful scenic portraits! One twisted ankle (mine), some rain, and a whole lot of love went into this amazing elopement.
From the bride:
How did you two meet?
His mother introduced us. I met his mother at work. She once randomly asked if I was single, I said yes, she said I have a son who’s also single. And then he asked me on a date via Facebook.
How did he propose? We all love a good proposal story!!
He proposed at his house, in his room, on a casual conversation. I thought it was a joke but he was waiting for an answer.
What made you decide to elope? Looking back, do you have any regrets?
We wanted to enjoy our special day. To make it about us and our commitment to each other. Avoiding the stress of a big party.
We have no regrets. We had so much fun.
If you were to give one piece of advice to bride planning her elopement, what would it be?
Time flies! Take some time to make a list of the important things so you don’t forget anything. And wake up early on the big day.
My husband brought the wrong suit and we found out the same day. He got lucky he found one at the las minute. And I forgot to wear my veil.
