La Belle et la Bete (Beauty and the Beast) Inspired Shoot // Seattle Photographer
“Welcome Beauty, banish fear,
You are queen and mistress here.
Speak your wishes, speak your will,
Swift obedience meets them still.”
– Jeanne-Marie LePrince de Beaumont
Set at the Shafer Baillie Mansion in Seattle, some amazing local vendors, Jackie Rose Photography, and I had the opportunity to bring something fun, and unique to life!
This is not what I typically document, but it was so fun to get outside of my comfort zone! To have the ability just to create something for the sake of creating was so good for my soul.
This version was derived from the original French story “La Belle et la Bete” in which our Beauty had two evil sisters who were jealous of Beauty, and her grace. Beauty’s father was a sea merchant who lost all of their family fortune. It is much different than the Disney version! Take a look, and follow the story through imagery.
A story is all in the details:
